I like to consider myself somewhat of a cocktail connoisseur, so when I had the opportunity to try the Drinkmate Home Carbonation System, I jumped at the chance. Of course, I immediately started thinking of all the cocktail recipes I could take to the next level from adding just the right amount of fizz! While making drinks “fizzy” was certainly a plus, I also liked the fact that it’s environmentally friendly and saves you money. Making your own sparkling drinks at home is much more cost effective than buying them at the store, so it’s totally a win/win!
After setting up our new drinkmate (which was super easy because it was pretty much just pulling it out of the box), and a quick search on Pinterest, we decided our first fizzy cocktail would be a Birthday Cake Martini!

Coat your martini glass with rainbow sparkles and set to the side.
Pour vodka, Italian syrup, and simple syrup into the Drinkmate bottle.
Once all ingredients are in the bottle, insert into the machine and press the button for carbonation until you have the perfect amount of fizz desired for your cocktail, and ENJOY!
After we made our birthday martini, we tried a few more beverages just to make sure the Drinkmate really was all it was cracked up to be! We made a sparkling rose, a sparkling iced coffee, and a sparkling cosmopolitan. All 3 were equally DELISH! I love how easy it was to set up and use. It really was as simple as pulling it out the box and pressing a button. The design is slim and sleek and doesn’t look like an eyesore on your counter top, so that’s a plus too. Also, while most other soda machines can only carbonate water, with Drinkmate you can carbonate ANY beverage, so the possibilities really are endless!
